Plot[]

SPOILER: Plot details follow.

Bloo becomes convinced that Mac is going to get married, so he tries to act like an adult for him. This does not work, however, so Bloo gets mad and tries to break up the wedding. But it turns out that Mac's not the one getting married--Mac explains that the wedding is actually for his cousin, Tammy, and that he's simply the ring bearer. The two of them escape and plan to ruin Duchess' tea party like they intended at the start of the episode.

Trivia[]

  • This episode reveals that Mac has a cousin named "Tammy".
    • This episode also reveals that Mac is in third grade, during Bloo's rooftop rant. While it's not unheard of for an 8-year-old to be in third grade, they are most commonly in second grade.
      • Children born in the spring and summer are often 8 in third grade, while those born in the fall or winter are usually 9. This could mean that Mac's birthday is some time during spring or summer due to him being younger for his grade level.
  • Terrence and Mac's mom do not appear in this episode, even though Bloo went into their apartment and Mac was seen saying "bye" to the latter. They aren't even seen at the wedding.
  • This is the fourth episode where Bloo is at Mac's apartment, the first three being "House of Bloo's", "Duchess of Wails", and "Infernal Slumber".

Cultural references[]

  • The scene where Mac and Bloo hop onto the bus while being chased by angry wedding attendees is a reference to the end scene of The Graduate, a romantic comedy-drama film which stars Anne Bancroft, Dustin Hoffman, and Katharine Ross.
