Sam Burger is a minor character who appears in a few episodes of the show.
Appearance[]
Sam Burger is an imaginary friend who resembles a hamburger with a sesame seed bun, burger patty, lettuce and cheese. He wears a red bowler hat with a green plant attached to it, white gloves, and yellow shoes.
History[]
Sam Burger first appeared in "Crime After Crime". About to play video games with Clumsy, they get interrupted by Mr. Herriman, who doesn't want anyone to find his hidden stash of carrots, and he tells them that they broke a made-up rule about not standing on rugs and to go to their rooms without supper.
After not appearing for over a season, Sam Burger reappears in "Let Your Hare Down", participating in the hotdog eating contest.
In "Bad Dare Day", Mac dares Yogi Boo Boo to kiss Sam Burger. Yogi declined, to Sam's relief, due to him being a vegetarian. Mac was then declared the winner for that round of the Dare Cup.
Sam Burger's biggest role was in "Read 'Em and Weep". He is one of the friends who was recently adopted on Adopt-a-Thought Saturday, and he had sent a letter back to Foster's telling them about his new owner, Ronald.
Ronald came from a rich family and was generous enough to buy himself and Sam two cruise tickets. Later in the episode, however, Sam's cruise ship ends up sinking, leaving him and Ronald deserted on an island. Sam sends a message in a bottle saying that he needed somebody to rescue him, as they had almost run out of food and Ronald was about to eat him in order to survive.
Bloppy Pants ends up rescuing Sam (along with many other friends) from certain doom and bringing them all back to Foster's. When asked how he was rescued, Sam simply stated "that Bloppy Pants was a miracle worker."

- Sam Burger's name is a pun on the hamburger, referring to the fact that he appears to be based on one.
