Dusty is a minor imaginary friend that appears in various episodes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Appearance

Dusty is an imaginary friend whose appearance consists of what appears to be a small ball of red fur. He has long legs and no visible arms. He does have a mouth, but it's only visible when he talks.

History

Dusty mostly appears as a background character who occasionally has a brief scene focusing on him. He can occasionally be seen with other identical-looking furballs.

Dusty's most significant role is in the short "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow". Bloo accidentally gets bubblegum stuck in Mac's hair and shaves it off in order to solve the problem. However, Mac has picture day the next day and needs something to cover his bald spot. Bloo asks Dusty to band together with his other furball friends to create a new hairdo for Mac. When Mac gets his picture taken, one of the furballs says that they thought they blinked. Interestingly, the furballs in this short appear in various colors, while the furballs seen in the show only consist of red ones.
