Cartoon Network is the home of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and many other animated and live-action shows. The network launched on October 1, 1992.
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends premiered on Cartoon Network on August 23, 2004 with the 90-minute pilot "House of Bloos". The final episode, "Goodbye to Bloo", aired on May 3, 2009. Eighteen shorts ran as filler during commercial breaks during 2006 and 2007.
Cartoon Network relaunched Cartoon Planet on March 30, 2012 as a classic cartoon block running Friday nights from 8 to 9 p.m. Foster's Home is amongst the series being rebroadcast. The first four episodes of Cartoon Planet features the shorter 11-minute episodes such as "Sight for Sore Eyes" or "Campers All Pull Pants" from Camp Lazlo. Full 22-minute episodes were included starting with the April 27, 2012 broadcast.
