"Badvertisement" is the eighth short of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Plot[]
Bloo shoots a video commercial to promote Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. In said commercial, Bloo advertises the benefits of owning a friend, with the help of Mac, Eduardo, and Mr. Herriman as actors in the commercial as well. However, Bloo's commercial goes a little too far in its message when Bloo offers that people who adopt a friend in the next 10 minutes can also receive "a Tote Bag, filled with $20s, and a new car". As expected, Bloo's commercial is received with disdain by the Foster's residence but was successful in promoting its message when Foster's Home becomes swarmed with customers, looking for the money Bloo promised them.

Trivia[]
- Bloo sings "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" to the tune of the theme song every time he said it in this short.
- Uncle Pockets makes a cameo as a friend that only had one owner, which is clearly not true, so he was replaced at the last minute by George Mucus.
- Townsville, the city where fellow Craig McCracken series The Powerpuff Girls takes place, is mentioned as one of the cities that needs to pay appropriate sales tax.
